A selection of architectural details and patterns from Doha Qatar featured on Divisare's Atlas of Architecture.
Sidrat al-Muntahā is a symbolic tree in the Islamic tradition inspiring architects to incorporate in their designs in Qatar’s capital. Holons is a concept of Arthur Koestler describing entities that are at the same time parts of bigger wholes. Architectural details are often designed in this fractal manner and this photographic series showcases a selection of Doha’s architectural patterns.
