Along side my editorial approach to architectural photography, I also practice the topographic and expressive perspectives of the built and natural environment. They supplement and complete the typological spectrum of the photographic medium, broadening self-expression in an integrally-informed manner and explore multiple viewing interpretations. Self-initiated photographic series as well as commissioned projects delving into the realm of fine art.

In the drop-down menu or the thumbnails below, it is my sincere pleasure to present my fine art work.

Exhibition-quality digital giclee prints are available in limited and open editions at various sizes and framing options depending on the work. You can email me here to further discuss the available options that would best suit your requirements.

Testimonials

"Pygmalion Karatzas creates compelling fine art photographs that would appeal to architects and photography collectors alike. His graphic black and white images made with long exposures are sumptuous renditions of details, as well as whole buildings and vistas. His attention to composition reveal his experience as both architect and photographer."
- Julie Grahame, Editor and Fine Art Curator, http://acurator.com

"In his art works, Pygmalion Karatzas demonstrates his special sensitivity to light, space, and form. We are fortunate to be able to view the world through his lens and glimpse our built environment with the eyes of a master."
