Information about the exhibition from Filodimos.gr:

The exhibition is curated by professor of Marine Biology Nina Fragopoulou and organised in collaboration with the Ephorate of Antiquities of Aitoloakarnania and Lefkada and the Hellenic Center for Marine Research, and includes contemporary works of art, lectures and educational excursions in the near by Mesolongi and Tourlida lagoons. 22 artists present paintings, sculptures, installations and photography inspired by Lagoon ecosystems.

Raising our awareness of the aesthetic and ecological connections between ecosystems and inhabitants is engendered by a dialogue of the scientific and artistic fields. To parallel this dual perspective, the images merge the boundaries between representational/objective and expressionistic/subjective prospects, inspired by Ken Wilber's "Marriage of Sense and Soul'.

The exhibition will run till July 29th 2018, Thursdays to Sundays from 19:30 to 22:30.
