The Blind Pilots Project presented the exhibition ‘Eye see the story’ in Thessaloniki, Greece on the 22nd of November with 80 international award winning photographers from Greece, USA, Romania, France, Sweden, Australia, Germany, Japan, Italy, Norway, Britain, Bulgaria, India.
I participated with an image from the ‘Doha Icons’ series. This photographic project was done in October/November 2013 and covered the recent construction developments in the capital of Qatar. The vision of the country for the next decades comprises on a gradual decrease of their dependence on gas and petrol through an investment in the economy of knowledge (international universities, information technology businesses, advanced production services). After the initial research on the city’s architecture, I visited selected projects and interviewed key industry professionals. The resulting images were presented in the book ‘Morphogenesis vol.2’. www.blurb.com/b/5393685-m-o-r-p-h-o-g-e-n-e-s-i-s-v-2
