“Art Supports Education – Fulbright Alumni Art Series”
November 2 – December 7, 2019
Opening: Saturday, November 2nd, 12:00 – 19:00
Curator: Eugenia Alexaki
The Fulbright Foundation, in collaboration with i-D PROJECTART, invites you to the opening of Fulbright POLYMORPHIA exhibition on Saturday, November 2nd, 12:00-19:00, to support the Fulbright Scholarship Program. All proceeds will benefit the Fulbright Scholarship Program.
The program “Art Supports Education – Fulbright Alumni Art Series” is an initiative which demonstrates that art supports education, just as education supports art. Fulbright artists reciprocate the opportunity they were given, by contributing with their works to support the Scholarship Program.
Fulbright POLYMORPHIA, with artworks generously offered by Fulbright artist alumni, aims to highlight the diversity (polymorphia) of expression that characterizes the contemporary visual art scene and the arts in general, an element that is firmly supported by the Fulbright Artist Program.
Parallel Events: "Arts, education, society - a polymorphic challenge", Saturday, November 30th, 17:00-19:00 Panel discussion with Fulbright visual artists. Panelists: Leonidas Chalepas, Sofia Dona, Adonis Volanakis - Moderator: Eugenia Alexaki
