Project description:

The brief asked for the revamping of an existing four-storey building into a company’s headquarters for sound and light. The building was located off the new Patras-Athens highway, the main road entering the city with high traffic. An assertive design with metal facade and steel wires was used to create a distinctive yet minimalist elevation. A complex intervention which re-imagined and articulated a new framework for the presentation and promotion of the company’s high tech products and services, internally by the double height atrium and office space arrangement; and externally by establishing an intelligible and memorable at first glance presence. Inspired by the harp, with the repetition of the steel wires, the quality of harmony found in sound and light, creates a mental connection between the brand identity and its architecture.
